How to keep live clams.... & Lala/Clam Sweet Sour Cili

Smlm hubby balik lewat mlm, he was visiting one of the estate... on the way back... dia singgah kuala slangor... Apa lagi, beli seafood la... ada lala/clam 2 kilo... and few type of fish... So, takkan mlm tu gak nak masak sampai dua kilo kan? So, kalau korang nak lala korang ni stay hidop sihat walafiat for few days, so boleh cook fresh2 .. baru la sedap kan? I DONT buy dead lala ... especially if you go Giant or TESCO, the lala/clam is always dead. Semuanya dah terbuka, tak bergerak2 lagi dah..... eeww! OK, back to my story... 1st makin sure your lala is alive (mesti tertutup rapat, kalo terbuka.. bila pegang dia akan tutop balik).... 2nd, basoh elok2... then letak dlm bekas kering, amik towel basah tutup depa. Then buboh dlm fridge... bukan freezer... toksah rendam ayaq, nanti depa lemas n mati... Kalo pernah pergi shopping Isetan, bahgn groceries boleh tgk airflown clams from Japan hidop2 lagi.... sebab depa keep the binatang in fridge... towel basah tu fungsi nak kasi kelembapan... nnt terlalu sejok, kering teros menatang tu.. mati jgok. So next day... korang steam masak... mesti semua lala akan terbuka. takkan ada yg stay tutop... becoz if masak, lala masih tutop... maksodnya dia dah mati b4 masak.....

Ni dia lala cili ku yang dah masak.... laki aku kata sedap... alhamdulillah...
Dia ratah gitu aja, nasi tak mkn... tongah diet.... Cian dia.....
Masalahnya, kalo dia diet, aku pon kurus... malas mkn jadinya.... masak pon malas....


NI haa.. tinggai kulit ajo.... kuah pon lincin... senang ati masak kalo tgk food habis dimakan, tak tinggal sisa.....

Owh, ni resipinya :

Lala Cili

Kuahnya:
- lala  masak disteam
- 5 biji garlic cincang haluih
- ginger 1 inch cincang jugak
- cili api n cili merah slice nipis
- bwg merah, optional
- serai ketok kaw kaw, slice tengah
- 4 sudu besaq tomato sos (lebih skit pon takpa)
- 2 sudu sos cili
- cuka 1 sudu besaq
- cili udang goreng (optional, cap cosway pon buleh, tean gourmet pon buleh)
- teloq

HOW?
1. Tumis bwg, halia...serai, nak almost brown, buboh cuka... kluar bunyi bising, campak cili cili idop...
2. Campaq sos cili tomato, and cili udang... buboh ayaq skit... maybe 1/2 a cup.. or 3/4...
3. Add salt, sugar.... peca teloq dlm.. kacau .. then campaq lala yg dah masak tadi... SIAP DAH.
