So, how was your weekend folks? Masih busy with open house? How nice... Aku masih menanti semangat nak berjalan2 umah orang.... nak membawak 2 orang budak ni, membuatkan aku pikiaq 10 kali... Takot sepah, pecah apa2 kang.... But I am looking forward to see old friends area KL nih.... hopefully kalo ada rezki, nak melawat geng Kemaman lama yang residing in Kuantan jugok. Well, my good friend Mona & family datang beraya during the weekend. She was nice to bring her own home cooked mee grg basah lagiii! Sedap ooii. Then aku buat lasagna lagi... permintaan hubby la katakan. As usual, terlalu excited makan and borak... aku lupo tangkap gamba. Sori la ya. But, on Sunday... kami punya rutin, kena pi tawaf pasar mlm Bangsar for groceries. Aku suka pi sana, becoz can get cheap strawberries, blueberries.... sayoq segaq2.... And paling utama is the seafood. Kat sana can get fresh scallop, clam, king lala at giler murah price. RM10 sedulang/setalam about 25cm diameter. Kalo hangpa pi kedai, mahai kan.... beli kat Tesco pon, tak fresh... ini menatang tuh idop2 lagi ooooi. So, menu dinner was split into 2 dish.
Chilly king lala/clams & lala masak ala La La Chong Soup. Gamba La La Chong Soup je sempat amik.... yang chilly dah selamat tinggal kulit ajo....

Dish ni pakai original recipe guna Shao Xing Rice Wine or Rice Vinegar.... but aku substitute with cuka besa cap Atan aje.... The taste... tak lari banyak... cuma slightly keras skit... so kena lower the dosage ya... nnt overdose, masok tong sampah jawabnya. Kalo korang rajin belek Chinese cooking, byk recipe guna the above wine or vinegar.... so dgn ini, adalah selamat utuk menggantikan bhn tersebot wiv vinegar biasa ajo. I tried using apple cider once.... Hmmmmpphhh.... Tak sedap langsong..... cap Heinz..... Menyesai gue.... Ni la kisah experiment aku, kalo jadi nasib baik, alhamdullillah. Kalo tak jadi, alahaiiiiiii..... heartsick... but try again. Nnt aku citer kisah aku buat Chewy Fig slices recipe from my fav book..yang turn out tak jadi.... Keras mcm batu
