Masak Masak Apa? Ku siram selasiihhh....

Antara favorite herbs yg tahan lasak, mudah ditanam & versatile....n sedap... is basil... selasih... kat malaysia ni byk ada sweet thai basil.... Daun besaq2... mak aku ada nama lain utuk dia, but aku lupa bcoz dah jrg dengaq orang lain pakai nama tuu... owhhhhhHHH ya! KEMANGI!

Apa pasai aku kata senang tanam? Sebab hang buleh patah/petik hujong atas pkok tu... or org kata tunas... and juz cucok kat tanah lembab.. & it will grow... tak payah tunggu benih or nak kena tot ke... ambik korek akaq ke.....

Versatile sbb buleh buat ulam, buleh mkn in laksa penang or ulam sambai blacan.... or stir fry with cili padi and ayam or daging.... if buat sup or bubur, ko tarok daun tu.... ini cara org Vietnam la.... sedap gak.

Pernah buat Vietnam roll? Tarok daun ni jugak.... rasanya refreshng mcm mint/pudina but tak se'angin/minty' mcm mkn ubat gigi.... ada rasa len skit.

Khasiat? Yang itu tatau... daun kesom aku tau la, my mom kata untuk rapat merapat kat 'situ'....
Selasih ni sy kurang fasih.... anda or mak anda taw?
Habaq kat saya.... kita share info.

Ini pula sup my sis in law buat.... but aku lupa pa nama dia... sedap....
Base tomato, ada ayam n sayoq and chickpea/kacang kuda...... Fuhhhh.... menarik! Asyik2 sup tulang, tomyam... kita cuba masakan lain plak.

Hi Lin, can't believe i see the chicken posole pix (that's what it's called, btw) on your blog. I used Carmen's recipe and the recipe on this link here for reference. http://www.realsimple.com/food-recipes/browse-all-recipes/chicken-posole-00000000020559/index.html
Didn't have hominy, so used Kimball's chickpeas and Carrefour's mixed vegetable in a jar as substitute. For the tomato base, used carrefour brand diced peeled tomato in a jar and Leggo's tomato puree.
Try it!
